Brainerd Carefree Living is looking for Resident Assistants to join our growing and established Assisted Living community in Brainerd, MN. Carefree Living is a division of Spectrum Health Companies - a Minnesota-based, statewide, community health care provider of Assisted Living, Memory Care, Home Care and Independent Living services. Spectrum is an EOE/Drug Free/AA Employer SCHEDULE: Flexible schedules available! Full-time or Part-time, days, evenings, or nights. RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Resident Assistant, you are the first point of contact for residents and their families, the face of the company. Main responsibilities include: Relationship building and ensuring the ultimate level of care and customer service is provided. Assist adults with activities of daily living in an assisted living facility. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, walking and transferring. Provide a safe, healthy and productive daily living environment. Increase quality of life by being respectful, professional and understanding of the client's needs. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a passion for working with seniors and providing excellent care and customer service. Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills Pass basic written competency and skills test CNA certification is NOT REQUIRED Position requires computer use; knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office is required. Selected candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position and will be subject to a DHS and criminal background study.
