Job Description
Installers report directly to the Owners and Foreman/Leads. The position will be reviewed regularly for satisfactory progress and performance. Responsibilities and Duties include the following and other duties as assigned: A. Job site a. Fabricate and/or Install ABC Seamless products and accessories. i. Should have general working knowledge of construction and installation processes. ii. Should have construction experience with installation of siding, gutters, windows, doors and wraps. iii. Should have leadership skills and the ability to train. b. Tear off. i. Should have knowledge of window removal, window treatment removals and wrap removals. c. Clean up job site daily d. Show up daily, on time. e. Willingness to learn. f. Willingness to travel. g. Willingness to train and manage other personnel in the installation/production department. B. Customer Relations a. Maintain acceptable personal hygiene. b. Display a positive, courteous attitude toward company and customers. c. Make every effort to ensure customer satisfaction at the end of a job. C. Office Work a. Must attend scheduled production meetings b. Maintain safe job site practices. c. Responsible for training of helpers on proper use of tools and equipment, i.e., scaffolding, ladders, roll former, hand and power tools, etc. d. Should have working knowledge of all safety equipment and use safety equipment. e. Should adhere to corporate safety and drug policy guidelines. f. Must have a current driver’s license. g. Knowledge of safety procedures, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher. D. Physical Job Site Requirements a. Ability to lift and carry 50-100 pounds frequently. Anything more than 100 pounds requires extra help. b. The ability to stand and walk the entire day on uneven surfaces. c. Repetitious cutting with hand snips. d. Ability to bend and stoop frequently during the course of several days’ work. e. Cannot be afraid of heights. f. Ability to ascend and descend ladders and planks easily. g. Ability to cope with day to day job related stress.
