• The position will be up to 24 hours per week working Monday - Thursday with no nights, Fridays or weekends
• Duties may include: Roadside data gathering, light drafting and surveying, materials testing, data analysis and various forms of job shadowing

Interviews to be held the first week of May 2022 and the successful candidate with be announced no later than May 13, 2022. Crow Wing County is offering a paid internship experience for a high school student to work in our highway department. This opportunity is to get students exposed and interested in civil engineering and civil technician programs.The position will be up to 24 hours per week working Monday - Thursday with no nights, Fridays or weekends.
Duties may include: Roadside data gathering, light drafting and surveying, materials testing, data analysis and various forms of job shadowing. This experience will include about 50% of the time completing duties and the other 50% of time learning the civil engineering trade. Students must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid state issued driver's license with a clear driving record. The ideal candidate will be in the summer of their junior year.
